Will Chavez get his ten year rule?

Venezuelans begin voting on Chavez’s bid to stay in power By TYLER BRIDGES McClatchy Newspapers Venezuelans began flocking to vote Sunday morning in a national referendum that will decide whether President Hugo Chavez will have the right to run for re-election in 2012 and beyond.
Venezuelans are being asked to vote “si” or “no” to scrapping term limits for Chavez and all elected officials, and their decision will help determine whether Chavez will have the additional 10 years in power he says he needs to carry out his plans for what he calls “21st century socialism.”
Chavez, who’s already served 10 years as president, held a slim lead in pre-election public opinion polls. Election officials are expected to report the result late Sunday night.
The outcome of the referendum also may help to determine whether the populist Venezuelan leader, who’s allied with Cuba, leads a small bloc of like-minded Latin leftists and has pursued closer ties with Russia and Iran, will remain a thorn in the U.S. side or whether his “Bolivarian Revolution,” now hammered by plunging oil prices, is becoming a spent force.

CARACAS, Venezuela — Awaking to the sound of fireworks in this city’s slums, Venezuelans began voting Sunday on a referendum on lifting term limits for President Hugo Chávez and other elected officials. The election could open the way for Mr. Chávez to hold onto power well beyond the end of his current term in 2013.

I decided to ask the question:
Will Chavez be able to pass his referendum which asks that he be able to be allowed 10 years to pursue his revolutionary agenda?
