Should I invest in this fund (Bernie Madoff)? Ruhama Veltfort’s Reading

Dear Angels –

I know many of you are great with these big moneybags charts but alas, I am
not. A friend called this afternoon and asked me to do a horary:

“Should I invest in the X Fund?”
(He did name the fund — it is a privately managed mutual fund — but he
asked me not to name it publicly).

(Chart previous page)    Asc. 6 Scorpio

First of all this is a “should” question, which we don’t like for many good
reasons. But I will take it to mean, “Will this investment benefit me?”

Querent is Mars L1. His money is Jupiter Lord of the 2nd.

What is the fund? I think we had some discussion about this before. It is
stocks (shares), so I *think* it is Mercury, Lord of the 11th. (Mercury is also Lord of the 8th, so
perhaps we can take Mercury in any case).

The Moon is VOC (void of course) in Capricorn.

I think this chart describes the Querent and his situation well. Jupiter
(his money) is on the Asc — he is very much concerned with it.
Moon in Capricorn in House 3, he is a big worry wart.

I don’t like to see Mars & Saturn together on the Midheaven, especially as Mars is
the Querent’s significator and Saturn disposes the Moon; they are both
malefics & Saturn in detriment — I think this is a warning.

Also I note South Node in House 11 — the investment is damaged or not good in some way.

Mercury exalts Jupiter — the fund wants his money? Not sure how to
interpret this.

But Mercury makes no aspect to either Mars or Jupiter (the Querent or his
money). In fact, Mercury is applying to sextile Venus — Venus is very strong both
essentially and accidentally, and she is emplaced in House 7 — somebody else
benefits from the fund, but not the Querent.

Part of Fortune is ruled by Mercury and just inside House 8 — this also looks to me like
other people benefit.

Whereas the poor Querent is about to crash into Saturn!
